Guys, we really need some fresh ideas to revive the site, Post whatever you'd like to happen here.
Get the word out.
Unfortunately, this is the only way this won't die. We collectively do not have enough knowledge to come close to completing this. (No offense to anybody.) So, that is what I have to offer.
Also, we should see about making this into several wikis, each dedicated to a language. Otherwise, it will get cluttered. Even HTML+CSS can get confused sometimes, and when we're doing three forms of C, a ton other C derivatives… It gets confusing. Also, that would help separate us into what we do.
Maybe a "language of the month" or something.
And the main reason why I created this wiki was to provide a small overview of the most common programming languages, plus a development community.
What we need first is a decent community.
The site will grow automatically when the community grows.
Re-designing the site is a waste of time until we have at least 25 active members
That's why I put a big announcement note on the front page about putting CW in your sig on every coding/gaming forum you are a member of.
PS @TR putting it in your sig on forum4c does not make sense :D
Only putting CW in your signature won't help much. It will take much time until we have enough members with only using the signature method. We really need some alternative methods that can help to feed the community base. (Publicity on other Wiki's perhaps? Like putting beneath articles about programming a link to CW for instance)
